Every Friday night, one of my favorite bar's in NYC, ARROW BAR, hosts HEAVY METAL HAPPY HOUR. If features all sorts of hard rock and metal spun by mostly music industry folks (including myself) from 6-9pm with 2 for 1 drinks. Because the DJs are industry, you'll usually hear new music before anyone else does. So, if you are in the NYC area and need to unwind from a week in the cubicle, head on down on Friday evening and end your work week with some rock.
